No Sound All Of The Sudden

Went to play a few songs on YouTube and...nothing

Went to Control Panel then Sound and was message - No audio device.

Odd as I was playing songs last night.

What could I do?

Did you check the volume control on YouTube itself?

Chances are, your audio driver probably crashed. I'd restart the computer and see if the audio comes back. I'd also check to see if there are updates to your audio driver.

UMC!!!! It worked! I shut puter off...turned it back on then went to Control Panel and Sound and the system was back up.

Most normal problems are fixed with a reboot of the PC but the first things to check are the things where you'd probably be mad if someone suggested them.

Like are the speakers plugged in all the way? Is the system volume on mute? Did the audio device somehow change?

After those problems then you need to check audio drivers which would be the most likely cause of the problem if the above didn't work. Glad you got it fixed though. Happy Thanksgiving!
