I have no problems browsing Gator Country on my home computer but my lap top gives me fits. Something is blocking me. I have to click back and forth on threads to read them. It is like my laptop freezes up and I have to back out and come back in several times to get a thread to load. Gator country is the only site that seems to have this problem. There are some sites that are totally blocked but nothing I care to visit and everything I do use or visit except for GC runs fine. Here is the kicker, I have little control over the settings on my laptop, settings are controlled by an administrator and I don't have privileges to reset them.

I really don't want to go to the administrator and ask him to change any settings because I don't want to give the impression I am out there surfing the net all day. I do like having the ability to check GC if I hear a rumor about a player or recruit though.

Any ideas on what might be causing this?

What browser are you using? Do you have the authorization to download additional browsers like Firefox or Chrome?

Looks like I am not the only one with these problems. I have the same problems the people in the linked thread have. Got much worse today. It for sure has to do with some of the adds on GC. Like I said before I don't have the option of changing the settings on my laptop. My desktop which I am using now has no problems.

Get into your "User Accounts" from "Control Panel" and check your account settings. Give yourself administer permissions from there.
