My point is the writer said we missed crucial FTs (plural) as though we missed several pressure-packed FTs at the end of the end of the game. We missed one FT at the end of the game. It was a bummer that we missed it, but missing a single missed FT is hardly of any great (or even minor) significance in assessing the team's performance.

The 3 straight turnovers in the last minute is what warrants some scrutiny.

Right, we only had one crucial free throw. It was 13% (12.5% if you want to get technical) of our free throws. And we missed it, so we missed 100% of our crucial free throws. A statistics joke, sorry.
