Are you talking incidents where the Gov gave the private sector money for R&D?

What things did regulation from the Gov makes an industry more efficient?

Worrying about a stack of Gov regs gets in the way of being productive IMHO. Imagine all the money saved by business if the tax code was shrunk down to 1 page. No need for scores of tax attorneys.
