Should have taken the field goal. Too early to be doing that

Wisc is getting some of the luckiest breaks in the passing game I have seen in quite a while. On their first scoring drive they had a pass tipped at the line of scrimmage high in the air and it still came down in a wr hands for a first down. Now on this drive the ball goes through the linebackers hands and still gets caught for a first down.

I don't think it's boring at all.

Now that Bielema (sp?) is gone I'll root for Wisconsin. Always liked Alvarez.

Yeah...difference is that we're not in this one. It's exciting in that it's close, but I prefer games like the earlier ones today over a punt-fest if I don't have a dog in the fight. Still could be another amazing finish though.

Because this post game will be better than the actual game that will follow it.

They only seem to do this for the Rose Bowl. I wish they would cut the crap and get on with the Orange Bowl! It's getting late!

It's the vestiges of the old media. They fellate the Rose Bowl because it's the "granddaddy of them all" or something. It all started when the big 10 was the mack daddy conference (which it was) and the mid-west was the manufacturing capitol of the world (also which it was, and I wish it still was) vs. the Golden state, some team from the land of Hollywood. They anointed themselves as the biggest deal in all of college of football and had the power to back it up. The media was all too anxious to lap it up and they still have not let it go.
It is still the most glamorous bowl shindig but the games themselves are noticeably less important year after year. It is in its declining years IMO.
