Excellent info/link SavageGator. Thinks to the post. I like the fact that VH3 is getting all that notoriety. I can't wait to see him at The Swamp.

Why does USC have so many 5 stars. What do so many good prospects see in Notre Dame? Finally, is VHIII really that special: as in better than Joe Haden and Janoris Jenkins?

Avatar is even trying to be negative about our best commit. What a shocker.

SMDH. Is that what you got out of that? I'm in disbelief at how good VHIII is and I'm trying to figure out if he is at a level we haven't seen in recent years. Some have described him as the best CB prospect they have seen in more than a decade. Geez.

And you just want to figure out some how, some way that its false. It's what you do. Maybe if you weren't doom and gloom little things like that wouldn't be considered just another negative view but you're ALWAYS trying to find the worst of any situation and label it as being objective.

He's a Gator in avatar only. I think he named himself as such on purpose.

Haden didn't even play CB in high school. He was a safety and QB. We recruited him to be a slot receiver. He wasn't as highly regarded an athlete as VH3. JJ was way underrated. He was thought to be an instinctive corner, but possibly not athletic enough to succeed at a high D1 level. For some reason, he got tagged with a 4.6 time in the forty.
VH3 is plenty special. He's faster than both of those guys and more versatile. As far as pure coverage skills, I don't remember a better high school corner that chose to go to UF. If he played WR, he'd be the best prospect we'd bagged in four or five years. He's the best overall prospect since Ronald Powell. He was that good on the field. If there was any doubt, he erased it in the all star game.

I know right, I have NEVER ever heard of any prospect get such glowing compliments from so many experts since I started following recruiting. Based on your assessment, and that of many others, I would conclude that VHIII will be better than Janoris and Haden.
Btw, thanks for your insight and for responding to my question.

If he's better than Janoris was as a freshman, then he will be the best freshman corner I have seen in my days following the Gators. Much respect to Larry Kennedy too. Can't wait to see him play.

That's interesting info about Joe Haden.
