I am excited about Cameron coming, we don't need to be the fun-n-gun to win a MNC, just need a bit more than we've had the past couple of years.
Time will tell.

Only question Les asked Cam during the interview:
Bermuda or Centipede?

1. There's no guarantee that an NFL coordinator makes a good college coordinator.
2. If he's any good at all, he'll be gone after next year.
They better get the most out of him while they can.

As a Dolphin fan I can attest to the fact that Cam Cameron is a hack

This. How much worse could Cam be than what they had? That goes for us as well.

It's because there's a lot of quacks and quackery on the board.

I don't think the OC was the problem last year for the corndogs, it was the OL and the guy taking the snaps.

David Garrard got to the Pro Bowl his last year in the league. This is the bar we're setting for offensive coordinators? LOL, this guy was fired and the offense improved and won the Super Bowl. Drew Brees went from David Garrard and an also ran to a hall of famer and Super Bowl winner. That's how he underperformed. Joe Flacco went from Joe Flacco to a Super Bowl hero. So yes Cam Cameron is great out of not getting close to the most out of players.
EJ Manuel made the senior bowl, I guess that makes Jimbo a genius. So if the trend continues Mettenberger will excel if he a) transfers again or b) Cameron is fired.

Credit LSU for basically telling him to, "Show us what you got, and then we'll pay you." I'm still not convinced that this is a good aquisition.
I know that, for whatever reason, you seem to be all about LSU hiring this guy, but this isn't an inspiring hire. LSU is a team generally known for putting a mediocre offensive product on the field, and it's a product that certainly doesn't match the level of talent they have over there. So, what do they do? They bring in a guy who did arguably one of the worst jobs in all the NFL this season, who also seemed to endure nothing but criticism from a passionate fan base generally known for backing their coaches/personnel.
Most Ravens fans aren't as fickle as some, and you really have to do an awful job for this town to be calling for your head. Just some perspective for you.

First of all I dont think that is what LSU is doing. They are basically saying we want to make sure you are not using this as a 1 year spot then leave. If you stay and coach you will get your money or Ravens are still paying him in year 1.
I didnt say I am all about this hire. This isnt an inspiring hire to you but I really cant talk to you on this subject because you are too close to it, it's pointless.
