Default House Health Bill DOA In Senate?

Lieberman and others say it is:

"If a government plan is part of the deal, 'as a matter of conscience, I will not allow this bill to come to a final vote,' Sen. Joe Lieberman, the Connecticut independent whose vote Democrats need to overcome a GOP filibusters, told 'Fox News Sunday.'

"Lieberman said he was concerned about new government spending the health-care legislation would entail, saying deficits have gotten gargantuan.

"'I don't want to do that to our children and grandchildren,' he said."

Frankly, I'll believe that when I see it. Nothing these crooks do anymore is a surprise to me.

I am sure there will be some attempt to tone down the liberal influence witin the Senate, but ultimately, it won't pass.

If anything passes the Senate, it won't look even remotely like this bit of trash. In the end, there will be many democrat (and likely one republican) House members who will lose their election bid next November.

The obama camp will pay off the senators on the fence with special favors and money, and get the bill passed, just like the house of rep.

That is why I want all of the remaining TARP money that has not been used, to be "given back" (whatever that means). Their is too much money being held in a war chest that we will all of the sudden start seeing it spent once election time rolls around. Mark my words...

I'd be just about shocked if the Senate passed the bill. Those lawyers are too busy playing golf with Obama.

Good luck getting the abortion funding provision back in. That should change some of the Dem votes in the House next time.
