I'm kind of over COD. The multiplayer has always been a bit off of the Treyarch games, with poor hit detection, etc., and Infinity Ward lost me with MW3 and their decision to dictate play style through level design. I'll likely just stick with battlefield.

Meh...
I have both, play both, enjoy both... Battlefield is ONLY better in graphics.
COD is more fun, faster paced, less campers. Battlefields maps are too big and promote slow gameplay and camping.
Also, I think vehicles brings a dynamic to the game that can be fun at times, but most of the time it just distracts people from actually playing a first person shooter.
Strictly as an FPS, COD is much better.
Of course, imho.

BF is more teamwork-oriented, actually allows for variety in play style that MW3 doesn't (MW and MW2 were much better in this regard), and the maps aren't all big. Some are, but some (like the Close Quarters expansion) are more COD-style, and nearly all the maps have smaller versions without vehicles. As far as camping, that is easily solved. if someone camps in BF, just grab a tank or helicopter and bring the building down on them, or blow the wall up and grenade the mess out of them, or take one of the numerous other routes to the objective and they eventually get bored.
