Works for me. of that group I would go, IU first, then Michigan, Louisville....Arizona not so much, we had NO business losing to them at their place.

Vegas currently has Michigan as the favorites to win the NCAA tournament at 4/1, with Miami and Indiana at the same odds as us at 5/1. Duke is at 8 to 1, followed by Louisville at 10 to 1. Where the money is going is usually a good indicator of how tough the team is.

Mich St. and UK with the same odds? Yeah, I'll assume those haven't been updated in a while.

1. Michigan State - Izzo has them playing very well now. He's a great tourney coach and really knows how to coach up his defense against our offense.
2. Indiana - can get really hot offensively and break down a defense different ways.
3. VCU - I think they could be primed for another tourney run. Coach knows how to do it and they have long fast players that can turn up the heat on defense and force TOs, as well as shoot some threes. I'm not saying they're better than us, but I can see them playing a game like Arky did against us, especially if we catch them in an early round game and overlook them.

Some of the other favorites like Michigan and Louisville I don't think match up well against us. Same for Miami and Duke.

Syracuse might give us some trouble.

Agree with all of this except IU. I just think they are one of many that could win it all. I have seen them look very ordinary.

If we are healthy, we can beat anyone in the nation on a neutral court.

Will we beat them? Who knows? But we certainly CAN beat them.

Anything short of the Final Four this year would be a huge disappointment. This team can go all the way if they don't beat themselves.

As an Arizona fan, Florida is the one team I don't want to see at all come March. It took a bunch of McKale magic to beat the Gators, and if the two teams meet up again on a neutral court, I think the payback would be quite unpleasant for Arizona fans.

Miami doesn't scare me. Meet them past the Sweet 16 and the bright lights get to them. Duke doesn't scare me either, especially if you play them outside of N. Carolina. The top of the Big 10, Indiana and the two Michigan schools are teams I'd prefer not to face, especially Sparty, because Izzo knows how to win in March.

Regardless, if Arizona faces any of the above teams in the tournament, I'll be very happy, win or lose, because it means at least an Elite 8 run. And given the fact our front line is 3 freshmen and a raw sophomore, all 4 are returning next year, we get transfer T.J. McConnell off his redshirt year plus Rondae Jefferson, I'm expecting bigger things next year. Arizona just has too many flaws this year, but a deep run will be great experience.

It's always interesting to go back and see comments from earlier in the year.

Assuming that we'd play well, I still think we'd be a favorite against Mich if they didn't have McGary (or whatever their big man's name was) and he wasn't really a big factor back in February. Things change.

I didn't list Louisville back then, but they were my favorite to win it (aside from UF which I had some hope attached to it) going into the Tourney. Not much of a limb I went out on considering they were the overall No. 1 seed

I should get a partial refund when he calls a game. I paid to see a basketball game and what I often get is a "Doug Shows" version of a basketball game. I greatly prefer the former.
