Gators In a Slump
Maybe the reason they a horrible this year has to do with Sully scaring off those players that could have helped the bats this year? Who knows, but once again they can't hit and its looks like a long season ahead.

Exceedingly bizarre post. Who exactly did Sully "scare off" that could have helped. Palmer and Washington left two years ago, Trent was never going to contribute. So who was it that you are referencing?
"Once again they cant hit" seems to infer they couldn't hit in the past. Three straight CWS and great team batting averages would certainly indicate otherwise.
If you have an agenda why don't you just get it on out so we don't have to guess at your motives.

If I'm not mistaken, this is from one of the guys who was dumping on Muschamp before the season. We didn't hear anything from him at all on the way; rival in disguise? Either way, hopefully it generates the same Mo. No birds on our schedule until the Ospreys; but we all know how that goes anyway.

I can't imagine the terror Zunino was experiencing when he signed his contract.

Can't hit? Hitting, IMO, hasn't been the main problem. I would argue relief pitching has been the biggest issue....defense maybe second until recently. Hitting has been better than average, not great but decent.

What happening now? Still losing huh? Sully better get things together, or he may be on the hot seat soon. Its a year by year evaluation until you win the big one, hes still short

I would agree, hitting hasn't been great, but in all....better than I thought. Pitching has been a nightmare. Carmichael, Harris, Mags are the only guys we can count on up to this point. Crawford hasn't had great run support, but he's had eneough to have a couple of wins already. Look, this team isn't going to CWS....but I'm hoping the light turns on and they stay competitve....would pay huge dividends for a serious contender next year. Still a long season, with a favorable back end to our schedule. The injurues have hurt too. Kish/Whitson would have been in the top 5 of best pitchers coming into the season, and they've been gone. Leadoff batter has missed a ton of time. Sully's coaching hard, the guys are just going through growing pains at this point. Go Gators.
