I made a post about him in Top targets thread the coaches have been keeping an eye on him and staying i contact for awhile now he cant take visits until Jan.

GATORAZ, you think we are just throwing darts and hoping something sticks at the DT position now. Reed was not highly recruited coming out of high school. Has he improved that much?

Well I would assume the reason Reed was not highly rated out of high school was because of academics. He went to prep school then Juco that is usually a sign of terrible grades or test scores,. If you have really bad grades nobody is going to recruit you hard.

The staff would not recruit a JUCO player that they don't think is going to be a nice addition. We could take 3 JUCO's this cycle and I would expect all of them to see significant playing time. The staff has been keeping an eye on JUCO's DT OT & OG for awhile. Cumming and Reed are teammates and play on Jacobs old team.

Word on the Carolina board from a Mod is that he wasn't going to get into Carolina anyway. Not sure if that is sour grapes or what but I think UNC and UF have similar entrance requirements.
