Zach Abolverdi @ZachAbolverdi
Four-star safety Marcell Harris will not commit this Friday as planned. No word yet on his new announcement date.

Well, that hardly sounds like good news. One fears that another visit is soon to be announced.

Looks like the UF/FSU game will 100% sway some commits... now, 2014, and even 2015.

Unless they see glaring holes in one team in the position they play and can contribute immediately (ah hem... Offensive line, wide receiver and DT for the good guys; I'm talking to you)

No way.
Every year the game holds some type of sway in some fashion for at least 1 high profile Florida player. This one is no different imho...
It's now known that Harris pushed back his announcement date just so he could do it on ESPNU. So I don't think anything has changed there. Gator.
But Caleb Brantley visiting FSU in two weeks with reports of FSU making a push and his quote of "stay tuned" is not reassuring.
Hearns listing FSU as a possible OV??? wtf??
Sherrod Pittman made a quote about how important this particular game will be, as it's been awhile since we played with two 1-loss teams. But he is a '15, and has 2 more rivalry games on top of this one.
JC Jackson / D'Ernest - I know we want JC. I know we aren't too high on D'Ernest, but that could change fast if a couple of the top guys on our board commit somewhere else really early into the cycle.
'14 DT's DeMarcus Christmas and Khairi Clark - We could always try to flip Christmas, I thought he had interest in UF early on. Khairi Clark likes Miami a lot, but with the impending UM penalties, he is going to give FSU and UF a look. I think Clark wants to stay in state, but he will undoubtedly get some attention from Northern schools.

Its about relationships not if you win or lose a football game. If anything the atmosphere might have an impact.
Harris is a Gator IMO never was worried
If Caleb switches it wont be because of the outcome of the football game it will be because of the attention they are showing and the relationships built.
Pitman is 2 years away but I expect him to give a commit to the Gators before the year is done
the rest of those guys arent going to change their tune if we lose to the noles in a competitive game.

Honestly, ya. But look at the players they have committed this year, they recruit erratically across the board. They take 3 stars early.
I think D'Ernest is the type of RB we would take AFTER we locked up a stud RB.

The game will influence players who are torn, but those that are strong leans the game won't have any impact whatsoever.
