Watson didn't play either....and he had been one of the hottest guys on the squad. BVO sat last week, never did see a reason. Could be that Shelton wants to move guys around early and see how the peices fit together.
Johnson has played in the 6 spot in both matches, but I'm not sure he is the answer there. Don't think his game is up to the level needed yet. I would slide up Watson and play Federhofer there.
The French guys are playing very well, Aford seems to be like BVO....nice upside but never sure what you are going to get on a regular basis. I think when it really counts will be interesting to have Alford at 5 and Watson at 4. Would like to see BVO back at 1, he can beat anybody on his good days, but Diep and Piro should give more consistency at 2/3 and not have those off days that BVO seems to hit.
