Sounds like a great group of freshman..and UF has a heck of a pitching staff.
I miss Cheyenne Coyle, but not missing the F* sisters one bit.

I am beginning to get the "addition by subtraction" vibe this year.
Win or lose tomorrow (and I would love a win against a perennial power) the trip is already a huge success.

Yeah, this team is already super competitive! I was expecting the girls to take some time to come together as a team with so many new faces but they seem to be really locked in already!

I really can't say I am surprised(mostly). Freshmen have stepped in and played at a high level pretty much since day 1 since Walton arrived. Walton's teams will always be competitive. The key is pitching and we have depth there. Still young in the season and regardless of what happens tomorrow, this weekend has been a huge success. To score 7 earned runs on a pitcher the caliber of Henderson says a lot. She is outstanding, top 5 in the country easily. And beating Moore is no small feat, either. 2 pitchers who pitched in the WCWS last year. Kelsey Stewart was ranked the #2 recruit last year and while Moultrie is impossible to replace, she is filling in nicely leading off the batting order. A lot of depth on this team as all but one roster player has seen action thus far. I think the memories of last season are long gone, this is a team of players that all want to be here and are all working towards one goal.
