Boys are pumped up already. Excited about starting. New Mexico is being used as the example of what can happen if you aren't ready to play.

Just heard this idiot on TruTV (where they keep it real) saying we were the most overrated team in the Tournament.
That unless our defense suffocates teams our poor guard shot selection choices kills us at the end of tight games.
Let's show 'em otherwise Gators!!!

Hate that people haven't seen enough of our guards driving the ball the last couple games.

I was just reading a story about Northwestern State in the Gainesville Sun. They likened it to a hockey match, where they send in wholesale 5-at-a-time substitutions every 5 or 6 minutes. The cool thing I like is that they don't list "starters". They list "first wave" and "second wave", and everybody gets roughly equal minutes.
Very interesting philosophy. Keeps everyone happy with their playing time.
Get ready for a track meet, Gators!

I read that as well. My question would be, is each wave equal? Are the stats for each "wave" of players the same, defensively or offensively? How much do they lose/gain when the next wave comes in? Can someone provide analysis?

Based on the stats, I am assuming the 2nd wave is not nearly the quality of offense as the first wave....the 2nd group averages only half the PPG as the 1st wave...there are 3 guys we need to be focused on....Hulbin, Hicks, and Davis...thats their top 3 scorers

Time for another 50-15 half-time lead.
