The list of high schools with the most players kind of suprised me. I expected STA to be up there but never expected small public schools like Pahokee & Glades Central to make the list.

Why do you think those states have the best players? Lots of heat and opportunity to play outside equals lots of practice and skill development? Or something else?

Muck City(Belle Glade & Pahokee) has the most NFL players in a 15 mile radius in the world.

And to be completely honest with you, the towns could have quite a few more in the NFL if they hadn't gotten put into prison or killed.

I remember our RB/LB/Mr Do It All on my city league team in Belle Glade. My coach told me "He will either go to the NFL or go to jail." He went to jail. The kid had all the talent and potential in the world as a 14 year old. There are quite a few of those in Belle Glade and Pahokee.

Honestly genes is probably it. That combined with one of the only opportunities to get out of there is football.

Speed is a big factor that brings college coaches there. Chasing rabbits through the muck and running the Lake Okeechobee dike are ways we built our speed.
