Default Free Throw Question

I have a question about the sequence in the game today vs Ole Miss where KB drove the lane and went down hard but was fouled. I know the officials were reviewing if KB elbowed the Ole Miss player. My question is why did Will Y shoot the free throws (made 1 of 2) instead of KB? I know KB had some blood to clean up during the official review but it looked like he could have come back to the game? Just a little confused...

Boynton went out with injury so the opposing coach got to pick the shooter

Just a rule. If the player can not shoot the foul shots then the opposing coach can chose who should shoot them from the guys on the court.

In a play where the shooter is fouled but can not physically shoot the free throws (Boynton had to come out per rule because he was bleeding), the opposing team's coach gets to select who shoots the free throws.

Kennedy must not know us very well. I would have picked Patric.

I think you have to pick a player that was on the court at the time? I think Young was on the bench.
