They do matter. scum played their way to a 1 seed, Kansas and duke palyed ther way out in their tournies.

We are likely a 3, but a 2 is not out of the question. At this point, anyone talking 4 may not be in their right mind, but anything is possible.

We're in the exact same position as two years ago. Same record (26-7) and coming off a loss in the SEC tournament title game. They gave us a 2 then but I would expect a 3 this time.

Good point. Keep in mind they've pretty much laid everything out before the games today and will only make adjustments after today's game if they work.

Remember 2 years ago when Kentucky beat Florida in the SEC title game. Florida got the 2 and Kentucky the 4. I'm not here to say Kentucky deserved the 2, but the distance between the two seedings (and region strenghts) were pretty drastic.

Turns out that those two seeds were the only two options. The committee would have had to have flip flopped the teams - as it was the only choice.

They can't always just move you slightly on the seed list at this point. They probalby only have a few individual seeds up for grabs.

Thx tommy. I noticed Lunardi just dropped Florida to the 3 in the West (down from the 2 in the west). He gives Georgetown the 2. I'd take this as well. Still keep the Zags and get a chance at the make up game Georgetown ducked.

Im gonna guess #3 in the west, I think with the win we would have displaced Georgetown as well.
