Good point. Keep in mind they've pretty much laid everything out before the games today and will only make adjustments after today's game if they work.
Remember 2 years ago when Kentucky beat Florida in the SEC title game. Florida got the 2 and Kentucky the 4. I'm not here to say Kentucky deserved the 2, but the distance between the two seedings (and region strenghts) were pretty drastic.
Turns out that those two seeds were the only two options. The committee would have had to have flip flopped the teams - as it was the only choice.
They can't always just move you slightly on the seed list at this point. They probalby only have a few individual seeds up for grabs.
