The good...
-KB found his groove a bit this weekend.
-We overcame a tough situation yesterday and won.
-Murph showed some signs this weekend.
I know the end result was disappointing, but we need our seniors to be confident next week. Its takes a lot to come together to cut down the nets, but some nice showings from our seniors this week could bode well next week.

Murph's defense, or lack thereof, hurt us a lot today. As Dykes said, when Patrick put his chest on that kid's left shoulder, he couldn't move. Murph was beat like a drum today.

He hurt his knee at the LSU game at shoot around. I think the knee has hurt his shot a bit.

Outside of the disappointment of losing today, it wasn't a terrible tournament. Disappointing yes, but losing on Friday and Saturday would have been a failure.
They can shake this off and get ready for next weekend with little ill effect.

The real GOOD is that we're not Kentucky today. We're in, just wondering where and against whom.

So was Patric. We were destroyed inside. That can't all be blamed on one player.

If we can keep every game in the double digits we could run the table, if anyone gets it closer than that we will probably lose even in the first round- its irrational but I just can't shake that feeling.

Good post/thread, Tilly. Appreciate the tongue in cheek apology. Gators got some more game practice. Recently hurt players got minutes. Lost but (hopefully) learned. Boynton beginning to remember how to shoot.

Pretty much. Once that score gets below 10 in the 2nd half, I get that "here we go again feeling." and watching the players it seems they do too

I said it after the Kentucky game. Against a good team, I would rather be down 6-9 with 10 minutes to go than up 8-14.

Understand why people feel this way.... I like the way the gators fought and I think they are getting better. This game affects seeding (maybe) but little else negative. The way the calls were going this game affected our play more than lack of confidence IMHO.

I saw a lot of good in this tournament, we were down double digits in the second half to Bama and near that to Ol Miss and came back to take the lead both times, we did not make a lot of stupid turnovers at the end of today's game, like we did @ UK @ Mizzou and @ Arizona, we just missed shots, we had a Freshman on the line to tie with a one and one and he missed the first, that is what Freshman do, even so, we fought back and had a chance to tie it at the buzzer, I still see an elite 8, after that, as always it is about matchups.
