Crazy Conference Tournaments
Almost every possible #1 seed except for Gonzaga, Kansas and Miami has lost in their conference tournament, with Syracuse at halftime, at least, throttling Louisville. This is an extremely interesting year.
I get the feeling that the NCAA Selection Committee will have it's work cut out trying to separate #1 from #2 and #3 this year.
Really crazy.

I don't think it's crazy as much as it's that there's not any clear cut dominant teams this year. Usually the #1s are head and shoulders above the pack, but this year that's not really the case.

Let's assume for a moment that these are the 10 teams being considered for a #1 or #2 seed:
- Duke
- Florida
- Georgetown
- Gonzaga
- Indiana
- Kansas
- Louisville
- Miami
- Michigan State
- Ohio State
Who are the four that you'd least like to face?

Based on how they are playing now - Indiana, UL, OSU, Kansas

Michigan State: Izzo has had success getting physical with Billy's teams
Louisville: Petino has Billy's number
Kansas: 7 foot garbage centers are apparently this teams kryptonite.
There really isn't a 4th team i am worried about but Indiana: Zeller could have a field day against us Olidipo is the kind if athletic wings who give our smaller guards fits.

We match up well with Duke, Gonzaga, Miami, Indiana, and Ohio State. These teams like to play up and down the court, which is our strength.
I don't want to play the slow grinding teams like Georgetown and Michigan State. I also don't like Billy against Pitino and his press.

I agree with Xeny.
The thing is that on any given day, pretty much any team in that top 16 can beat pretty much any other team. So, it all depends on how the two teams are playing relative to each other. Today, Bama was playing very well. These things happen.

I said this on another thread, but I don't want to face Kansas. I think their guards are a really, really tough match-up for us.

Kansas would be a tough out but I feel like they've been really hit or miss in the tourney in Bill Self's tenure. you never know which Kansas you're going to get.
