UM swagger or showboating?
Maybe I'm jealous, but I really don't think so. To me it seems Miami lacks sportsmanship. And it may be because the really have not "been here before." I don't think many coaches around the country would put up with off the backboard alley oops. Also with Boston college giving up, they still dunked the ball today with 18 seconds when IMO they should have dribbled the clock out. Bill self got on to his player for dunking at the buzzer vs Iowa state which was an emotional game, but this dunk seemed just as unnecessary.
So is it "The U's" swagger or do they just showboat a lot?

If it's "swagger" then that's an awful lot of it for a program that has accomplished just about nothing in its history.

If we both win our tournaments and have finish with the same record I just don't know how they could be seeded ahead of us. They only have one quality win against Duke and they lost at home to a terrible Georgia Tech, and a loss to a bad Wake Forrest team. It would be very upsetting if they finish with the higher seed.

They also lost to FGCU.
Swagger is just different terminology for boorish behavior. The thug image of the school appeals to a segment of the population and they rely on that blind allegiance to recruit, especially in football.

They would get the higher seed because the ACC is a far better league this year than the SEC. With Kentucky probably not getting in, that leaves Mizzou, Ole Miss and UT/Bama as the only other teams to make the field of 68. Outside of us, none of these teams are ranked and the best that the SEC has to offer is a team currently ranked 13th.
SEC:
Florida - 3/4
Mizzou - 9
UT/Bama - 11/12
Ole Miss - 12
ACC:
Duke - 1
Miami - 2
UNC - 7
NCST - 9
All this changes depending on games. It's possible Maryland gets in if they beat UNC. Bama gets in if they beat us but that means they might knock out Ole Miss if Ole Miss loses to Vandy. By tonight we will know pretty much who's in but Miami is a solid 2 seed and we are a 3/4 seed (an outside 2 seed if we beat Bama and then Ole Miss and Miami loses). Georgetown's loss didn't hurt their 2 seed.

What hurt our 2 seed was losing to Kentucky.

Canes lost at home to a weak ga tech team. No way, Gators would lose to them or a FGC. And no way is UF close to being a 4 seed.
Canes have had their best season ever, but they have been living off that big duke win forever. Don't see a big difference between the 2 conferences. Would love to see the canes match up against their old coach Haith and Mizzou in the tourney.
