Will Y
Today was the first game since he returned that he started to look like the old Will. Not quite back to that yet but getting close. Very good news for our outlook.

He's getting a little closer. He's still not as disruptive on defense or pulling down rebounds like before but hopefully he will get there by the start of the NCAA tournament. The more games we can play in the SEC tournament the better for him.

I Think he helps the flow of the offense with vision and passing ability
Also can put it on the floor and make basic offensive moves
Unlike PY

At UK Prather/Yeguete played 43 minutes and grabbed 15 boards while scoring 8 points, blocking 2 shots, 2 assists and 1 turnover. Today against LSU Prather/Yeguete played 38 minutes and grabbed 8 boards, while scoring 5 points, blocking 0 shots, 1 assists and 4 turnovers.
So my view is that Yeguete looked more like himself against UK where he grabbed 6 rebounds than today where he grabbed 4 rebounds. I am hoping that Yeguete and Prather play a bit better tomorrow. If fact in order of worries today I would hope to see a better results from:
1. UF's SGs
2. UF's Frosh other than Frazier
3. UF's back up bigs, Prather/Yeguete

I'm hoping that #2 is not an issue for the remainder of the season. They only need to see the floor when we're up by 20+ and less than 3 minutes to go.

I agree too sort of, but I think after that performance today maybe only with a 30+ lead with less than a minute to play. Nine points of UF's lead was kicked away pretty quickly today.

What WY gives UF is another big player inside as opposed to Murphy who is more outside. This helps against teams like Missouri who have Bowers & Oriakhi inside.

The key is when Yeguete gets enough minutes at the four that we can give Prather a lot of minutes at the three. They are not interchangeable, and they don't always play the same position.
With Prather at the three, we are much longer and that can be beneficial in many situations.

He contributes a lot.
It takes a while for a player to get back into top form after an injury hiatus.
He is fortunate in that he was able to play some over three games before the SEC tournament.

The best thing that resulted from this was the further development of Prather and the emergence of Fraizer. Even Walker got some minutes in as a freshman because of the various minutes.
Yeguete has to cherish possessions more, and be more careful of his passes as does Rosario. They tend to force passes into the paint and elsewhere more than others on the team. We have to not turn the ball over. Alabama is a team that doesn't turn the ball over often, but we haven't really pressed lately on a consistent basis. I look to see a re emergence of the press in full effect in the round of 32 or 16 God willing.
