I'd be a USF or a UCF fan because of them being the closest teams in my area.

If I going to cheat on my wife, it's gonna be with a high price escort, aka, the NFL.

Probably a hurricane :-/ That's what happens when you're a Cuban living in south Florida typically.

Phillips Field. UT had some great players - which just shows what a school can do when it has no admission requirements except the ability to pay the tuition (for non-athletes).
(just kidding, don't mean to insult any UT alums here)

Texas because I'm originally from there and all 9 of my dad's brothers and sisters went there (he was the lone exception and went to Iowa on a wrestling scholarship). 5 of my cousins have subsequently went and graduated from UT, with another on the way...so safe to say I'd have probably ended up there too--but I did give ND a hard look my senior year of hs too.
I'll never forget the day I got the scholarship offer from UF's coaches though: literally jumped up in the air and did a fist-pump with excitement (looking ridiculous for the neighbors, I'm sure). It was my first choice and had been pretty nervous they weren't going to offer since I'd barely heard from the coaches and didn't really know if they were interested.

If I hadn't gone to Florida, I would have gone to Texas, Georgia Tech, or University of Southern California.
I probably would have ended up at GTech though, and I still root for them at least once a year and sometimes twice (UGA and FSU.)

Looks like you still got some dawg in you, cause in these parts it's known as the Florida- georgia game.

I was born in Pensacola & got interested in college football as a kid there. I have no idea how I didn't become a Bama fan since they were winning so much at that time. I guess a second possibility would've been Georgia Tech since my Dad is an alumnus.

Assuming there was no UF, I would probably have to say the school in the panhandle since my family goes back several generations in Leon County. Luckily my grandad got outta there many years ago.

Probably Bama .... sad to say. My dad was a huge fan of the Bear, no matter where he coached. My older brother was a FSU grad and I saw what kind of person he turned out to be so NOT A CHANCE IN HELL I would've been a simplenole!

A hurricane. Grew up in Miami and actually paid the deposit to go as a freshman before switching to UF last minute. Thank God!

Spent 4 years at UF. Unfortunately wasn't able to obtain my degree from there. My dad said it was cheaper to party closer to home. So I ended up at Coastal Carolina.

Bama. As a seventh generation Alabamian, I was bred to be another in a long line of Bama alumni/rabid fans. My first football helmet was a Bama helmet. My first t-shirts were Bama t-shirts.
We moved to Lake City when I was five. My grandmother (who taught me to love college football) was less than happy when I became enthralled with our local team. Ultimatley she gave her blessing to my brother, sister and I going to UF because "at least it's in the SEC."
I also have soft spot in my heart for Appalachian State. My mom's alma mater. They're my FCS team.

Funny because my grandparents completely converted from Bama fans to Gators when my uncle transferred from Amherst to UF to go to pharmacy school. They actually pushed my mom there, who also attended pharmacy school. Decades later, my grandmother talked her housekeeper into pushing her son to play football for UF. His name was Fernando Jackson.
