Latest Palm bracket
Still a 3 seed in DC, with Duke 1, Mich st 2. UF's sweet 16 pod is interesting, with a couple of tourney cinderellas VCU and Valpo, plus Nova.

To me, that is very telling. If Florida wins 2 in SEC tournament, at worst we will get a 3 seed. Huge difference between 3 and 4 seed IMO.

As long as we are not in Indianapolis bracket with Indiana I am happy with wherever we are and think we can make a run to the Final 4.

I agree that we are still a 3 seed, but we're a Friday (and maybe a Saturday loss) loss in playing ourselves into a 4 seed. I mentioned that several weeks ago and nobody believed it. Getting to Sunday shouldn't have any impact on moving off a 3 seed.

I don't want any part of VCU. They play a lot of press D. If we have a lot of turnovers, we might lose that game.

I don't think Florida really wants a part of any team right now with how they're playing

If only Gainesville was hosting the first round, than I like our chances.

Yeah, it's almost impossible to fathom beating anyone with a team that hasn't lost two games in a row all year, won the SEC out right and is undefeated on neutral floors and at home.
Dang, and I had some hope

Lol that's all great, and I pray they do amazing, but we have to face reality... Is this team mature enough? Are they tough enough? Are they ready to play competition everyday that is as good as them? So far when they have, they haven't been good. I hope they do awesome and win it all, but right now I have to be a realist, and the reality is this team is great at home, and horrible on the road against " decent " opponents, not great. If you can not beat Kentucky without them having their star player Nerlens Noel, do you think you can win a tournament?

To be clear..what you just stated is fair, wondering if this team is tough enough to win a tournament is different, "than not wanting any part of any team".

That's the question of toughness, their morale could really be down right now. Lets hope not.

Actually, today on Gatorzone they said that it was officially a road game because Kansas St. controlled the ticket sales. Not sure it that is fact, but it was according to the writer... Meaning we were 2-0 on neutral sites.

That would be only for the NIT. Imagine the meltdown if that happens!
