I posted the same thing on my Facebook page and a friend of mine who is a Hurricane fan commented "Five National Championships"

Not yet they didn't. ACC acknowledges the conference tournament champ as *the* conference champion (unlike the SEC). SWAC was their champion last year.

Think of it more along the lines of the way the SWAC consider themselves the state of Florida champions when they win.

Canes are the undisputed best in Florida - no other team in the state can beat them.

Miami winning the reg. season title in b-ball and FSU beating State, makes the wkend a mess. Guess who is on ESPN every hour as a lowlight. Yes you guessed it. It is going to be a couple of days before I reconcile watching Gator Hoops again. Terrible wkend. Thanks for the added pain. LOL

This is correct. The official ACC Champion is the winner of the ACC Tournament.

Who would have thought that was possible? I thought for sure the Gators would win a baseball title before the Canes ever sniffed a Hoops title. They have a good chance for it this year too. Anything can happen in the NCAA tournament. And it sure seems that the Canes have a better shot than Donovan's team right now.
