Exactly. Can't even count how many times EW iced games in the last 2 minutes. It happened on many occasions.
I do also remember him having a last second 3 pt shot blocked (nothing to do with being clutch), and his fatal mistake was always driving too deep in the lane and doing something stupid (but even here while he was probably not being "smart", he made a few amazing plays to win games by having balls and going aggressive). I guarantee you Erv Walker would have found a way to pickup that 5th foul on Cauley-Smith, even if it meant being "stupidly agressive" for a 5'6" guard he would have drawn that 5th foul on him.
Ev was always a bit of a mixed bag. One of the better "clutch" shooters we've probably ever had at the FT line or if you need a shot to win. But also being so undersized definitely changed our ability to really matchup well on defense.
