Wiki, for many items, is actually a pretty good reference. At least in my field in which I have some expertise in which to judge it. It's not perfect, but then again, how trustworthy are any encyclopedias?
More on topic, I don't think the problem is with the numbers, per se, but in calling them czars in the first place. It's a bogeyman catchphrase for what is a policy adviser, nothing more.
Now if some have a problem with the pres having more advisers; that is, aside from the costs (salaries), then that seems sort of small-minded. Hell, why wouldn't we want quite a few people advising the president on a whole range of issues, especially those that require specific expertise?

the prez doesn't give a hoot about spending and it is ludicrous how you people keep defending him on it
the cutting of the WH tours was just a political stunt-
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2013...-family-trips/
From the article:
The president's travel expenses alone, for the golfing outing with Tiger Woods, would pay for a year of White House visits," Fox News contributor Charles Krauthammer said Thursday. "So I suggest that perhaps he curtail the travel."

What bill, do you expect the president never to leave the white house? This is nothing more than a self-generated phony issue for the right to get unrighteously indignant about.
I still haven't seen anyone actually find the factual documentation of the claim in the op. I wonder why that is...

We both know why, of course.
But it has been pointed out that the so-called full-time "dog handler" is not.

Yep. We've seen this same routine ad nauseum...
Produce the evidence and then let's talk.

When his highness flew down to Palm City, Florida for a buddies golf trip two weeks ago, it cost the local law enforcement agencies a cool $150 K extra and we know towns are strapped. Maybe O slips them some of the money we would have spent on WH tours?

I have no idea about the dog handler- and as usual y'all rush to pooh pooh it- then we will find out somewhere down the road that there is some semblance of truth to it- it matters little- the point is that your prez does not practice what he preaches and y'all as usual will continue to give him a pass

The internet has too many people thinking they know who and how OUR (US) issues can be fixed or solved. Too much finger pointing going on these days and not enough from both sides trying to get something done. There is not ONE person or party that has the answers and until some people can swallow their pride and honestly try to work towards a common goal, we will be stuck in this mess for a long time. Like little kids, people sit for hours just to dig up negatives on leaders they do not approve of just because they would like to say "I told you so". It has got to the point that if tomorrow our deficit and our economy were to be the best it has ever been, people would be arguing on who to give the credit to, instead of rejoicing. There is not one person out there that knows what is best for this country as a whole. So as soon as we put our pride away and realize that it will take all party's working together and giving it an HONEST %100 to try and work together, we are screwed. Anybody age 8 on up, can find something bad or negative on Bush, Reagon, Clinton, Obama, me, you, etc all day long. What good does that accomplish? What does that fix? What does that teach the younger generation?

So i guess that means perpetuating lies on top of untruths on top of fake conspiracies is okay then. Got it.

Yes, that is how the right wing does it. Thanks for making my point, but don't be afraid to put right wing in place of your dot dot dots.

Obama’s dog has $100,000 handler
That is ridiculous, Barack has no respect for our tax dollars. Michelle can be taken care of for a lot less.

It's not obama's Whitehouse. He's acting like a petulant child -- nothing more. A 2% slowdown in the increase in spending in the federal budget is good for us all.

So elected officials should not recieve money for their work?
Or should they only be able to spend it in a way we like?
Answer the question, his money or money meant for government use?
