Excellent analysis. It's a shame that those that are getting free goodies from the government or only care about things like over-taxing the rich, gay marriage, gun control and rewarding illegal immigrants for their law breaking won't pay attention.

Don't forget that Romney got fewer votes than McCain. Those focused solely on far right issues apparently failed to show up at the polls so they are equally responsible

Totally agree and something very hard to explain IMO. My point was more that the willfully ignorant of anything negative about their idol will remain so.

regardless. It was THE PERFECT TIME to cut the religious out of the republican party and for the party to become the party truly interested in fiscal responsibility.

cause the fact is that the republicans don't care about fiscal responsibility either.
