I just built and submitted this app to the app store and need some 5-stars to move up the iPhone app list. If anyone wants to help out a fellow Gator with a 99 cent purchase, I would really appreciate some 5-stars!!

Basically, the app allows you to select which criteria you want the app to use to make your picks (BPI, RPI, Pomeroy, Schedule Strength, etc) and then applies a weight to each factor. Then, after the selection show, the data is downloaded to the app and it will make your picks for you using your criteria.

Last night the app was 107 in the sports category and today it has moved up to 35. I hope with some more stars I can get it in the top 10 in the next week or two.

Yes, you got me! I joined the message board 4 years ago (along with all other teams boards), just planning for that one day when I can "pimp" my iphone app. I'm pretty shrewd, huh?

Relax... I'm not judging, I'm just curious. What I mentioned is actually a good idea. IIRC, this isn't the first time you've posted "pimping" an app. I could be mistaken though.

Well "pimping" would infer making money. Right now I have created 3 apps:

1. A kids book app that I built and give away for free, tens of thousands of downloads and kids are using it in schools all over the country and I pay for a server to support it with zero profit.
2. A math app which I built to see if I could offset the cost of the server for the first app, but have just a few sales a week.
3. This bracket app which *might* make a few bucks but there is only a window of a few weeks of sales, so who knows.

Anyway, just thought I would ask for help from some fellow Gators. And I thought posting about a bracket app would be OK in the NBN forum. Hopefully nobody is offended.

If I were you, I would do what I said and do this on Basketball sites of all of the major colleges, but then again I'm a money-grubbing wh*re.

Thanks for the support. Basically you can select the criteria you want to use to make your picks and it weighs each factor accordingly. There won't be any data until after the selection show on the 17th so you won't see any picks until after then.
