Anyone who bets on the NCAA tournament this year wants to part with their money. This year may break the 8+ seed for winning.

I don't think Duke will make it past the Sweet 16.

If there is so much parity, just take the points in most games?

It's odd , that odds are odd.
With those odds, I wouldn't touch any favorites, even if I thought they could win it.

I confess that the daydreams I had a few weeks ago about a national title have faded a bit. But the idea that the oddsmakers put us in the top two or three certainly gives some reason for them to return and brighten.

this is a year that for the Gators the old saw 'it is all about the match ups' is truer than usual- brackets are everything

You are aware that a few weeks ago is when Yeguete was either hurting or out due to surgery?
There are some of us (actually I may be the only one ) who think he, despite being the 6th man, may be the most important player on this team. And, I think he'll be 100% by NCAA Tourney time

As a former professional gambler I can tell you that none of those odds are worth a bet.
Far too many things can happen in a 6-game series (assuming one makes it to the finals) to take any bet below about 15-1 or 20-1. I might consider taking Indiana, the Gators, Miami (they look like a better team than Duke), Kansas or Michigan State at about 20-1.
Of course, all such odds are always well below the actual probabilities that the sports book places on a team's chances, because they have to make a profit, so, they are usually a very bad bet from a long-term perspective (how many will you win out of 100, how much will you profit/lose?). However, I will admit that when living in Nevada and Gambling during the mid 1970s, I did make a few "Bad Bets" on things like this, like putting some money on Seattle Slew to win the Triple Crown at a mere 7-1, or betting an absolutely sure thing Trifecta at a mere 6-1. I hit both, but those were exceedingly unusual bets for me.
