When we don't play well, we lose...
I know that sounds simple and ridiculous, but that is what has been most disappointing to me so far.
Teams need to learn how to win when they don't shoot well or turn the ball over alot, etc. Minnesota shot 4 for 20 last night in their win against Indiana. Arizona won a game this year when they had 27 turnovers. Miami has won several games when they haven't played well. I'm sure there are other examples.
We have yet to do that. We have played poorly in 5 games and we have lost them all.
The good news is that when we play well, we are scary good. If we are healthy, I think we are as good a team as any.
This isn't a panic thing as I still believe we will make the Final Four. Just an observation that concerns me.
Go Gators!

I completely agree. That's when you find out a lot about a team. If you can win ugly in addition to winning big, you have a chance to be special. It takes ball sack to win ugly. Right now we are all shaft and no sack, in a manner of speaking.

in order to win ugly, you need to be a great rebounding team, something we are not, especially without will y

Not only that but UT had 57 minutes contributed by 5 players off the bench compared to 26 minutes and 3 players for UF. And 17 of those minutes came from Prather and 9 from the other 2 players.

This was a more satisfying win than the easy blowouts we've had. We were staring at a loss but made the gut-check and shut them down the rest of the way. This will pay dividends. We needed a win like this.

Yup...this was a very satisfying win today. The Gators could easily have folded, but they answered right back with a big run and put the game away.
GO GATORS!!!!!

Now, it is time to get back to playing our best basketball.
