Quick comparison...Manning at home in the playoffs for Denver against the 6th ranked defense...28/43 290 yards, 3 TDs, 2 INTs, 3 sacks throws an interception that costs Denver the game in OT.....Tim Tebow at home in the playoffs for Denver against the 1st ranked defense....10/21 316 yards 2 TD 0 sacks, 10 carries 50 yards 1 TD, throws a TD that wins Denver the game in OT.

However, I digress to the statistic that truly matters....Peyton Manning's throwing motion during the interception that cost Denver the game was a textbook, fluid motion exhibiting a quick release.

Tim's throwing motion, on the other hand, had "project" written all over it while connecting with Thomas for the game winning score.

Really hope the Jags go after Timmy and are playing their cards close.

In Christ forever,
Mike

San Fran would be the perfect place for Tim. Great QB coach, running QB, and if they get rid of Alex Smith, they will need someone to come in who can play that style of O. Tim can come in, run the wildcat, and have a chance to compete.

It's obvious to me that Jacksonville does not want to succeed. Bringing Tim in will only make it more difficult for them to move the franchise. (especially if he succeeds)

Well, Alex Smith is now on the way out of San Francisco. And I think Coach Harbaugh is quite happy with Kaepernick. I think Colin did very well for a new, young QB taking over the starting job during last season. So I don't know if this means SF would be interested in Tim Tebow or not. And don't know if Tim would like to go out to San Francisco or not. If this happened it would be interesting to see how it plays out.

I'm not sure any realistic fan of Tim's thinks he would beat out Kaepernick. But he could be the backup, Kaepernick might be injured, Tim might play and - voila! we have the second coming of Kurt Warner.

As an aside, does it strike anyone else as strange that almost everyone spells "Kaepernick" correctly but many people had trouble with "Weis?"

If Tim wants great QB instruction then SF is about as good of a place as any. As I have posted before, what Tim needs (and didn't get in NY) is a strong HC who says that he is an integral part of the team. The question is whether Tim wants to play behind a young up-and-comer. If he wants a better chance of starting sooner rather than later then I think that Pittsburgh or Arizona are better options.

This is my point. It's working well for the redskins. They designed their offense around RG3. A team will have to do the same for Tebow.

I think one of these teams with a mobile QB will bring in Tebow as a nothing more than a back-up. Washington, SF, Seattle, Carolina or Philly may be his only hopes.

How ironic would it be for Tebow to be Newton's back-up?!

It would be ironic. I think he would certainly be the fans favorite. Cam might self destruct, so that might be a good place for him.

I think TT would be happy to catch on anywhere in the NFL right now if it got him away from Rex Ryan and the Jets. Unfortunately, I don't see many team giving him a thought.

That's what I think too. If Tim was just another QB he probably would get another shot somewhere. But he isn't just another QB, he's a media circus wherever he goes and that creates a lot of distractions and controversy for any team he joins. Couple that with the fact that let's face it he didn't look all that great with Denver despite the wins and I have a hard time seeing him getting taken by another NFL team right now. I hope we're both wrong.

Possibly. I understand he could get hurt but I don't think you'd see Tim permanently unseat Ben.
I think he should give HBack a shot myself.

Your never gonna shut up with this our you......Tim and his camp have said numerous times he will work as hard as he possibly can as a quarterback or die trying. He is and will never be anything other than a quarterback.

I'm not sure why you take this so personally. Do you think I don't root for Tim Tebow? I was cheering my ass off for him in the playoffs in 2012 and was hoping he'd unseat Sanchez this season. It appears he's having a hardtime finding a team that will make him the franchise QB. I think he'd have a long future in the NFL as a Cooley type if he attempted. If he wants to keep trying to be a franchise QB then so be it. It doesn't bother me whatsoever.

I really enjoy watching Tim play QB, maybe thats why I keep telling myself most teams just don't understand what Tim brings, and these teams should give him a shot. I tend to believe and hope someone gives him another chance to succeed..
Obviously, if the Jets cut him loose, and no other team picks him up then I need to start rethinking my own opinion.

I wouldn't write off Tim just yet, however if he can't land with a team that gives him a shot at QB, then IMO, Tim would need a 'miracle' to play QB in the NFL for the forseeable future.
