Can anyone tell me what years Owen Bartruff played for the Gators? I believe it was in the mid to late 80's.

I know he started his senior year against Miami which was the end of our series with them, so his career went from 83 or 84-87.

He is my fraternity little brother and he was there from 84-88.

I grew up 4 houses down from Owen and his brother. Until he came to UF, I only remembered him as a little kid, but was glad to see someone from my town/neighborhood play for the Gators, and he did well also.

I remember him and yes...he was a Senior in 88. He was a Safety who became an undersized yet effective OLB. He was a walk-on originally I believe. Solid player for the Gators.

My brother is good friends with his brother...owen went to school when i was at UF 84-87...
