the irony of this, is that republicans are doing everything they can to prevent the cost containment measures for their corporate sponsors

Agreed that the quoted posts are infantile. I hope you'll agree I'm not given to such nonsense.
However, I think my statement stands on it's own merits. They've already closed new applications for the federal governments pre-existing conditions program because it was "costing more than they expected". I think it is reasonable, even rational, to expect more of the same across the entire program as it rolls out.

Indeed most of these posts are infantile.
Corporate sponsors only by reps? What a joke and these kind of statements just reflect the low informed voter of the left. If they really believe it, it is worse on the left than I thought.
Where the hell did a lot of the stimulus go? To so called green companies, who in turn funneled a big portion back to Obama's campaign. Crooked is as crooked does.
They have already declared there is little money left for preexisting conditions.

Obamacare is going to add tens of thousands of new jobs to the IRS but none to the medical industry - see the problem?

The medical industry is quietly imploding, especially in terms of the development of new drugs. But at least the lawyers are happy that they get to keep their 3 chins.

I have no idea why Moc is allowed to continue to post the easily debunked tripe he gets from bogus sources.
He and dadx4 are this board's most factually challenged posters by a wide margin.
Romney! Landslide! Book it!

If one really believes Obamacare is not going to make the cost of health increase he should at least entertain the thought of a self imposed ban on posting, because all they have to offer is a poor defense of Obama.

Perhaps for the same reasons you are--banned come back with a new name, insult folks, get infractions, warnings, suspensions, and you are still posting...

Donna Brazile doesn't know why her health care premium went up.
Hasn't heard of Obamacare, I guess.

The point is, Obama claimed health care costs would go down. Of course the left can use that same old and only defense they have " It could have been worse'! The only argument they have. If it takes proof, they have none.

Those are all entirely different issues than posting utter falsehoods!

No, the point is that the report was based upon the notion of the cost containment provision being phased out.
In other words, that is what would happen "if" not "what is."
So the right wing echo chamber either failed to discuss this most important point or they simply buried it deep in their stories. Whatever the case, it's perpetuating a lie.

Actually backing a bill that was not read and vetted before voting on it is betting on future events that are not controlled.

As a matter of principle and conservatism I don't vote on things I don't control or aren't sure things (I might add that I won't be around in 75 years - the time period of the prediction - to collect, nor would I be bold enough to predict that far out). If I was a voting man I'd have your money now for Obama getting elected and the stock market continuing to rise after that fact, so your presumed powers of prediction are already as low as anyone's on TH and yet you want to go 0 for 3? Stay away from Vegas.

Again, AHCA has not been fully implemented yet. Some of the benefits went in first, causing short term rises in costs.
No financial assessment can be made until after 2015 at the earliest.
