Can NFL Teams ask Manti Te'o if he is gay...
http://sports.yahoo.com/news/nfl--ca...024157625.html
Very interesting article.
Not sure that any player would answer honestly if they were...
Not sure that it would matter if they were...
Law of averages suggests that there have to be some in the NFL.

Probably better to inquire in a roundabout way... "Manti, showtunes make up what percentage of your MP3 collection?"

The NFL Players Association is aware of those rumblings — and Colorado tight end Nick Kasa's contention that he was asked if he's a heterosexual — and the union wants the league to investigate whether, and to what extent, it occurred.

Why would a team ask, unless they had definitive statistics that gay players have a negative WAR vis-a-vis straight players??? I want my team to have the best players. Period.
Unfortunately I'm a Jags fan, so that's not in the cards for me, but still...

The Dolphins asked Dez Bryant about his prostitute mother so I'd imagine anything's possible, bro.

I'd imagine it's a locker room cohesion kind of thing. You don't want your starting middle linebacker to be ostracized by the rest of the team.

Not legally IMO.
I think it's going to take a top tier player like Brady, P Manning, or A Peterson to come out while at the top of his game before attitudes can begin to change.

There are better questions to ask:
What color family is puce in?
What is a tiramisu?
Name 4 characters in the village people?
Who was the last american gold medalist figure skater?
Get an opinion on Judy Garland/Liza Minnelli
Funny story: I had a friend who thought her boyfriend my swing the other way. I suggested that she ask about puce and/or tiramisu. She asked him about puce and he quickly said 'it's pink'. So she called me and was amazed at how that worked. I told here there are very very few folks who will just know what that is off the top of their heads. Once he mentioned Liza, that was the end. This list works every time! We found out later that he had to cover since he was military.

I agree with most of the list but not tiramisu. Everyone knows what tiramisu is, unless you've lead a sheltered life.

Call me a loser but I had to google it. An Italian dessert made of ladyfingers dipped in coffee and layered with egg yoke and cocoa. It sounds ok to me. Does that make me a flamer or something?

Have you seen Brady dance? Or dress?
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Supermodels. Whatever. Gay guys never marry chicks.
