So, a 308lb offensive lineman is faster than Te'o? Maybe they need to swap positions. Oh yeah, he needs to gain 80lbs too. Then he'll have the NFL's first 7.0 dash.

Yea he did, but he played the best competition and did not get scared of alabamas running backs. He played in the hardest league and it shows well in the NFL. He also never got exposed at all like Te'O did.

He seems like a good young man however after watching the BAMA game I am not so sure he is quite as good as advertised.

And he'll face even bigger and better OL/RB's in the NFL EVERY week. I imagine he'll have the deer in the headlights look his first year. And maybe his 2nd.

Some funny stuff in this thread:
OP - "I guess it is understandable.
After all, his girlfriend died..."
Tilly - "Maybe he should let Eddie Lacy carry him for the 40 yards.
Might show a faster time."
Brutal - but hilarious!

Te'o Blames Slow 40 Time on Combine "Stress"
Man, he was just so exhausted. Claimed that he had been running a 4.5 or 4.6 in his workouts.

Read much into my post?
All I'm saying is that he can still make a mark in the league with that speed. Don't know whether he will or not. Certainly doesn't appear to be a future pro bowler...

My memory may be off, but weren't Brandon and Andra a bit bigger than Manti?

The 40 time is less important than quickness closing the hole. That's where he didn't show up very well in the NC game.

Probably. Apparently Manti came in lighter than expected.

Fastest QB in the history of the combine!! WTH is THAT???????
LOL - Landry "Firewalker" Jones put a blazing 5.11 using his unique fire-walking upright tailwind-harnessing Sooner Schooner technique. Does that look normal even for a "pocket passer"?

It would of been better if he just said nothing. If I was interviewing him, it would go like, "So you're telling me you can do better but stress makes you perform worse?"
