Been a rough year for injuries. Hopefully we will be completetly healthy just in time for the postseason. This is a different team when we are healthy. Can't wait.

Hope they aren't rushing back. Whether or not we beat Bama is not as important as having them 100% healthy come tourney time.

Got to give them time to heal but it is going to be tough without both of them tomorrow night.

Well, remembering how long it took Prather to heal from his two concussions, it is really good to only lose Frazier for one game.
It will likely take Yeguete some time to work back into form, just like it did Prather when he returned from the ankle. I don't expect as much time to be required for Frazier.
It will very interesting to see what Billy D does at Tennessee. Will he really use an 8-man rotation, or will he use, as I expect, 6?

Use 6 and we get spanked. UT is deeper in size and experience. We can't hold up in a half court slow down zone defensive game. The vols will pull away in the 2nd half.
I'd use 9 and I'd run and press the entire game. The freshmen know the system now. Frazier II is proven and the other 3 freshmen have been around long enough to be sophomores. Put them out there and go all out. I think that is our best chance to win. UT won't be expecting this from us so it could be very effective.

Who takes Fraziers place for tues night? Also, I hope we don't rush yugs recovery, I'd rather he plays all through the tourney than suffer a set back.

Devon Walker will cover the 3 time so I think it will have to be Dillon Graham, also 6'4", to cover the 2 time. Braxton O will get PT if either Wilbekin or Boynton get into foul trouble. I'd have been practicing using them all today.

Dillon Graham, Braxton O and Walker will all get some minutes to buy some rest for the starters. I suspect we press less and give the team some minutes to slow down the pace of the game. Just win on the road. If we are hitting the 3's and if Scotty drives the lane and dishes to the bigs we can roll these guys. Solid defense will be required since UT can shoot the 3 if left unguarded and they have some inside game to finish at the rim. We may be getting everyone back in time to peak for a tournament run.

Do we anticipate UT pressing, and playing lots of man to tire our starters knowing we are short handed?

I agree with this. Playing six is almost a certain loss & may affect our next game(s). Throw these guys in the fire & see if we can disrupt UT. However, I'm sure we'll see a more conservative, though viable, approach where we sub in the other three freshmen for the one we lost to effectively create a 7-man rotation.

In a 60 minute game against aTm on Saturday UTn played 5 five guys 43 minutes or more. They played two other guys 15 and 12 minutes and on other guy 9 minutes.
Kenny Hall is the 9 minute guy. He has been in a bit of trouble, but maybe he is out of the dog house against UF and UTn's rotation is deeper. Still it does not appear that UTn is as deep as some recent years.
BTW, I still expect a loss until UF shows some consistency at beating UTn.

Well, we did beat them 3 times season before last while losing twice to them last year so there is some solace in the fact we have done better over the last couple of seasons.

Yeah, I remember UF won up their in 2011. Still, our recent history has been so bad that I am expecting the worst. I hope to be pleasantly surprised.

UT plays thug man defense. They will play very, very physical to try and get our guys to turn it over or get into foul trouble.
