Well, as many, many women already know (Hello Wilt), I am nothing if I'm not a real manly man but, you just have to try those pedicure things the ladies get.

Hadn't seen my youngest daughter for 6 months and she flew in (from Seattle) last week. While "home" she was going off to get a pedicure and asked me if I wanted to go. In a moment of weakness, and to kinda call her bluff, I said, "sure".

Well let me tell you. The women folk know what they're doing:
1. comfortable chair
2. sittin' right next to your friend (daughter)
3. hot water foot bath
4. foot/lower leg massage (from a "strange" woman)
5. gal cleans your toes
6. she polishes your nails
7. she trims 'em
8. she puts polish on them if you want (yeah that's right, I went with right foot orange, left foot blue - and I like it).
9. you chat and laugh and share with your "girlfriend"
10. take my word for it, you wanna impress a lady (any lady), secretly make an appointment at a salon and pedicure with her- guaranteed.

I got more but I gotta go get me another beer and my shotgun, get on my Harley, drive over and get me some cigars, drive really fast to the airport, pilot my jet to Alaska and bag me a grizzly, with the guys, dammit.

A friend of mine had it done a couple of days ago and said the cleavage angle was great.

While Tebow might be the latest sports figure to make headlines with his professional nail care regimen, he's certainly not the first or the only one. Baseball legends Mickey Mantle and Babe Ruth were known to get manicures - there's even a photo of Ruth in the barber's chair getting his nails and hair clipped. Soccer star David Beckham is also famous for his groomed nails."

My 4 year old daughter likes to take me to the spa. Which means putting waay too much lotion on my feet and calfs and kinda messaging them while she talks as she remembers a spa technician would. (Yes, mama took her for a pedi.)

It's shockingly relaxing and hilarious at the same time and has made me open to the idea of the real thing.

Wife half kiddingly suggests I go with her everytime she sees me trimming my nails with a pair of scissors. One of these days, I think I will take her up on it and add in a message for the full effect. No waxing tho, got to draw the line somewhere.

You guys did real good here; some funny stuff. Always figured I had something in common with Timmy. Never expected to see Jag join in w/photos. Serious about that date idea - you wanna impress someone new or someone that's been in your life for awhile, make an appointment and roll up in front of a pedicure salon. I can almost guarantee you'll be rewarded for it.
