inbounding - under our own bucket has been much improved over the last couple of years. we've been having some great plays.

inbounding after a made bucket by the opponent - and beating the press - isn't as reliable as in years past w/ Ewalk. but it's getting better. you can see the improvement. still shakey at times. no doubt. but that's good play, imo, from the defense, and 'catching' us. but you can see the coaching being done as the next game, the gators seem a bit better. SW is reading the defenses better, and seeing the traps coming at him, etc. sure, we still bungle them from time to time, but i don't think we'll see another 'arizona' type game. we're beyond that now. coaching and confidence is over that.

I would say the biggest weakness of this at the 3. UF does not play a true 3 this season ala Miller, Brewer or Parsons. So if UF plays a team with say a 6'10" center, a 6'9" PF and a 6'8" 3, UF has a match up problem.

Unlike some past UF teams this team when completely healthy has some flexibility to matchup with a team with a 6'8" wing. Still Prather and Yeguetes are more small 4s than 3s. Also they might have trouble guarding a true 6'8" 3 on the perimeter.

I think Prather has the athleticism to guard a long 3, but that requires him actually being able to spend minutes at that position. With Yeguete out, we are playing him at the 4, so the 3 is a potential problem.

I would say at this point now weakness #1 poor ft shooting. This imo led to the Mizzou loss, too many front end fts missed. For the year the team hasn't done well and in tourney games with pressure, missed ft's could mean the difference.

#2 is post play. Sometimes we have problems feeding PY the ball that leads to turnovers and some games PY isn't as locked into it. With his size he should be able to create space more often. Now, with so few bigs I do think PY tries to conserve energy so as to play longer which means he isn't as aggressive as he could be if we had better depth in that area. Bottom line if our 3's aren't falling we NEED an inside game.
