Our losses came from good teams ,we had leads on all of them but did not make the 3pts shots and they out Coached us, Wilberkin dribbles to much with games on line,Billy needs for confidence in Frazier shooting late in games,he cannot score from the pine bench.

Hall, Feeling the love is not getting enough playing time minutes and listening to coaches talk about line-ups in the program. As a player you are practicing, working out and riding the bench for extended parts of games, you start seeing the writing on the wall, fair or not to fans looking from the outside. Three players in three years transfering is a fact. Not answering the question I posed you Hall, I guess you and I know the answer.

We need to take advantage of a rest advantage tonight against Arky, having played Thursday night and requiring one of the farthest flights in the SEC.

You are making your supposition through hindsight which is the easiest way to look at things. When Young come in there was talk he would not be around long because he was that good, plus CP, Macklin and Tyus were all returning. What happened to Kenny has to be looked at from the perspective of that time when he left unless you have the gift of precognition, and what was going on at that time was totally different from what is transpiring now with Kenny. Perhaps He will turn out to be the better pro, but once again there was no clarity to the idea that he would turn out that way when his transfer took place.

People keep lamenting about Kadji. iirc every time he came into a game he'd shoot a three, a lot of them ugly looking & almost all ill-timed (e.g. not coming from the offense, not passing to a better shooter, etc.) Again, iirc Kadji also really failed to give any effort by running the floor or playing defense. I think the majority of blame for Kadji's lack of playing time rests with Kadji.

Seems unlikely to me as he has been doing this a while.

We are only practicing an hour to 75 minutes right now unless on occasion they need more.

Fatigue can't account for an opponent's point guard grabbing as many offensive rebounds as our power forward and center grabbed in total.

Did we press at all against Missouri in our last game against them? I just watched the beginning of our home game against them & it seems like we were pressing them. I do wonder if they're tired.

I have noticed Billy still has starters in pretty late in big margin wins.

This has often been a question, as we do seem to almost always have a little "down" spell late in the season (every team has down spells, but we so often had one seemingly timed with the 2nd half of SEC play, if not right down the stretch into the last 4 games).

There might be some truth to it, since it happens pretty much every year.

However, I would rather have a little "fatigue" in the regular season, and then be ready for the SECT and NCAAT. Donovan has been much better at not having his teams "bounced" prematurely, so whatever he's doing seems to work all the way through. Fatigue should not be an issue.

Yeah, I have that same feeling sometimes when this team is rolling... that we keep the starters in 2 or 3 "game" minutes more than necessary (of course that's a GREAT problem to have). I doubt that plays a huge role in any fatigue issue though.

You should re-read my comments. I did not state that.
Muscle fatigue is something that happens over the course of a college basketball season. It's just the nature of the beast. There are going to be games when a team does not have their legs for one reason or another. The likelihood of it happening goes up on a quick turnaround, Saturday-Tuesday coupled by long road trips.

I'm assuming you played sports, perhaps not?? You Don't ever recall just not having your legs?? It happens.

The issue of fatigue just became more important with Frazier's concussion.

I guess that is why Abukar transferred and Huertas and Lucas. They weren't getting playing time as freshmen. Or RAK after lighting it up in the SECs. Or Shipman after being our only guard off the bench.

But three transfers in three years. Whoa! Unprecedented.

Res, these three could have helped us with depth. I know you are one of the pumpers, you don't like to give your opinion, you just like to comment on others. Have you ever put in writing something you didn't like with Billy coaching style. You might have, but I must have missed it. This is a message board for sharing people's opinions. Bring fresh thoughts for a change. No one is perfect, I'm sure not. Billy get's paid a lot but that leads to both positive and negatives analysis. I am behind Billy 100%, but there are great wins and tournament runs, but consistent problems we Gators fans with our clear glasses on like to discuss. Like Broadway's column, Billy falling behind in the "Losing close games within five points in the closing minutes of a tight game" compared with the fraternity of top Div. 1 coaches. I am sure you have an comment for that.

Fatigue is an issue... but it should not be an excuse. Every team is suffering through fatigue this time of the year. The great teams and players play through it.

Everyone keeps talking about depth as if most top teams are going 9-deep. Most teams don't go further than 7 or 8-deep, which we had until Frazier's recent injury.

With that said, I am concerned with front court depth because for as physical of a specimen Pat Young is, he seems to have really bad conditioning for some reason. And we need him to play all out. His energy makes this team turn it up another level.
