Oh I agree. Sebring is a testament to engineering. As old as it can be watching the four rings dominate everything for the last decade, it is truly an impressive team all around. I'm excited for 2014 when Porsche gets back into the LMP1 or whatever they'll be calling the premier prototype class.

I've been following them since the first year of the R-8. Truly an amazing car. I remember watching the Judds and other cars bouncing all over the track at sebring while the R8s just purred along. I also think Joest developed all three (917, 959 & R8). Nice to see Porsche coming back to LMP. Guess we can thank the split for that (prior Audi focused on high-end LMP, while the Porsche brand focused on the GT classes).

Read up on it. Lewis didn't do anything except try to avoid the fight. Remember, it was the "victims" who pursued Lewis and his crew to the Limo when Lewis and Co. were trying to leave a bad situation. Remember too it was one of the "victims" that crashed a champagne bottle over the head of one of the perps.
So, as I read it at the time and still read it, the victims are only victims because they lost a fight they started. You'll excuse me if I save my tears for more deserving "victims."
BTW. Jury came back quick on the two perps: Not Guilty. Self Defense.

Hell, while we are at it, what about competitive eating? Sport or not?

You've never heard of the word "misnomer"? It's in our language for a reason.
ESPN coverage doesn't dictate whether something is a sport unless you're going to tell me Texas Hold 'em is a sport next...

Those kids are doing it under their own power, individual like wrestling, nowhere to hide. Warriors.

Semantics...... but that dead dude probably had it coming to him anyway. It was deemed self-defense and I'm fine with that, but Lewis is still a phony.

I agree she gets more exposure than she has earned but she did look good at the 500 yesterday. Plus there are way too many athletes out there than have done worse. She has not done anything I wouldn't do if I was in her same position.

I'm thinking you do not want to have a conversation with PD on this. I believe he would set you straight.

Just because PD uses vociferous arguments to state his positions/beliefs doesn't make him right.

Oh I understand just fine and it was a half joke but I'm glad it got a response from a resident smart ass.
How about snow skiing? Please. Just strap these on and go real fast down that hill. Seems much like auto racing....

The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America.
