Impressed by the Lacrosse Team!!
got into town - before the baseball game - in time to catch some of the lacrosse game.
first 'live' lacrosse game ever! pretty impressed! fun sport. anyone remotely curious about the sport should check 'em out. girls can hustle. run some neat plays. they know what they're doing (of course, i don't, so i probably can't even make that assessment).
pretty good crowd considering all the competing sports going on concurrently.
like the fans that we're flashing the yellow cards and 'left-righting' the opposition as they ran off the field after being yellow-carded.
team is impressive. so are the facilities.
that is one sport that i think the pregame warmup is much needed. interesting to watch them warmup. throwing and catching that ball w/ the stick takes some skill. and they were running hoops like plays - cuts and curls around picks etc to get open shots. passes ran the gamut from line drives to bullets to lobs, etc. sure is different, but lots of action.
