Who steps up at safety?

Marcus Maye at SS Valdez Showers at FS. Brian Poole I think will stay at corner since Purifoy is moving to Receiver.

If there's one area of our team that I'm confident will be well-coached, it's the defense--and specifically, our secondary.

There's no question losing Elam and Evans will cause some teething problems next year, but with the insane amount of talented players we have available, someone will step up and hit the next level.

We are covered at safety. Maye, Neal, Hargreaves. I'll take those three against the league.

There are so many talented players, the competition for those positions is going to be tough. Depth is an issue at corner, especially moving past this year, so I doubt Poole does anything but play corner. Same with VHIII. Riggs could move to safety, and outside of that look for Maye to probably lock up a spot, with Ledbetter, Showers and Gorman fighting over the last spot.

I'm not sure anyone steps up this year - looking like a Gormon/Showers platoon to me, but I think Keanu Neal is going to be the man at FS next year after a year of getting his feet wet. SS we have too many great options to not find someone that'll work.
