Yeguette Status?
Think I heard the BD thinks he'll be back for UK. Hope so, without him, we may play ourselves into a 4 seed and miss on the Sweet 16.

4 seed? Seriously? We lost to a good team on the road... we're still a 2 seed as of now. Even with one more loss I would still think that we are a 3 seed.
That being said, I can't wait for WY to get back! It's not the same without him out there!

We ain't playing well away from home. Tennessee all of a sudden is looking dangerous. We still have to go to Rupp. 4 seed is where I think we will be placed.

If we win out & perform well in the SEC tourney we'll still be a #1 seed, IMO. Our BPI and RPI are still very high and I don't think there will be but a couple of teams with less than 4 losses when the season is over.

And you're always overly negative so anything you say you could add a few spots to it and it may be correct. You say 4 so that must means were a 2 seed.

I don't see anyway Kentucky can beat us. They can't score and their guard play is beyond bad.

Only way we lose at rupp is if Noel falls into a pool of dear antler spray.

Mizzou wins a tight home game and is getting blown by everyone. Meanwhile they have 1 road win on the season -- and multiple double digit point road drubbings.
UF has one bad game all season that we didn't show up for.

If they come together (which they will be fired up to play us) they will be tough to beat at Rupp. Regardless of the past.

No way we'll be over a 3 seed. Care to make a wager on it?

Yes, seriously. I can see us winning out with the tournament and getting a 1 seed or losing 2 regular season games and a tourny game and dropping to a 4 seed.

It's funny, because a couple of weeks ago I remember seeing people wondering how ANY SEC team could beat Florida. Then Arkansas happened.
I do have faith that this team can bounce back, but definitely the UT and UK road games are really going to be tests for our team at this point. I don't see how we can count road games as "gimme's".
Best case scenario I think is if this team got in another battle on the road, and then actually closed out the game by taking it in the paint, scoring, getting a crucial stop on D, and then maybe closing it out at the FT line. Other than losing ugly, I think the worst case scenario would be if we "won" one of these games by shooting up a prayer from 3 in the final seconds, or got lucky with the opponent choking FT's (instead of us). Because that would prove that this team still has not learned to "finish" in close game situations, and a "luck" scenario might continue to reinforce the last minute gameplan as "OK" - before it bites us for the final time in the NCAAT.

All of a sudden? UF has had NC winning teams lose up there. The good news is other top teams have games too. They are losing some of the time too. Heck everyone was in love with Michigan State and they lost at home last night. Sure IU is better than Missouri, but Michigan State lost a game they very well could have and maybe should have won at home.

We are going undefeated in the O'Dome (I don't care if you say jinx or whatever). At worst we finish 14-4. Good chance we win 1 of UK and UT. So likely 15-3.
Then we play the SECT on a neutral court. Odds are we get 3 more wins there.
No way in hell are we a 4 seed. 3 seed at absolute worst.

I'm not convinced that UT is all that. We beat LSU on their home floor by 20+. They needed their only scoring threat to get 34 in order to beat them at home by 10.
Last year's UT team with both Maymon and Stokes would concern me much more. Their guard play is abysmal, except when they play a team like UK that decided not to play defense.

Good, cause we're always about 25% better than you claim we are.

I was taking a lot of flack for even insinuating that we would lose 2 or 3 games in the league. It's as if many here don't think the other team tries or has any talent whatsoever.
That was a good team that beat us last night. Arkansas ain't so bad either. On their home floor, they're probably 10 points better than what they are on the road.
