Nice! I heard Chris Rainey was a free agent in another football league not NFL.

Now this is odd. We have no pics from Jag yet. And this was posted over an hour ago.

I thought this wasn't allowed anymore? Didnt he (or maybe urban?) get to a banquet, find out it's a violation and have to turn right back around?

I was thinking the same thing. Rainey is a football legend at that high school and maybe because it was never proven he hit the girl.
Rainey pled no contest to disorderly conduct charges to settle the case after charges were dropped for battery. He was only fined $200 and $300 court cost from what I recall reading.

Ray, did you or anyone else attend?
What did Muschamp have to say?
I'd like some feedback on how it went.

I was not able to attend. Had a conflict. There was an excellent article in this morning's Lakeland Ledger about it. I'm not home right now, using my iPhone 4 so when I get home later I'll try and get a link. In the meantime maybe someone else has time to run it down.

Florida Coach Will Muschamp, left, greets former Dreadnaught and Gator Mike Pouncey, right and his daughter, Janiyah.
Read article...
LAKELAND | "When asked what it takes to have a great football program, Will Muschamp fired the words quickly out of his mouth.
"It takes hard work to have a great program," the Gators football coach said.
And that's what Muschamp stressed Thursday night to the Lakeland Dreadnaughts football players at the team's annual football banquet held at First Presbyterian Church.
"Players, ask yourselves every day, are you getting better, because you never stay the same," Muschamp said. "You must get better or you are just surviving, and that's a person who does just enough to get by. And I can't win with those types of players or coaches."
Muschamp is definitely getting better and is on the verge of returning the Gators to greatness."
