Friday 2.22.13 Lakeland Ledger
Ryan T. Boyd
Muschamp: "It Takes Hard Work!"
>> When asked what it takes to have a great football program, Will Muschamp fired the words quickly out of his mouth.
"It takes hard work to have a great football program."
And that's what Muschamp stressed Thursday night at to the Lakeland Dreadnaughts football players at the team's annual football banquet held at the First Presbyterian Church.
"Players, ask yourselves every day, are you getting better, because you never stay the same. You must get better or you are just surviving , and that's a person who does just enough to get by. And I can't win with those types of players or coaches."
Muschamp is definitely getting better and is on the verge of returning the Gators to greatness. <<

An excellent article on Coach Muschamp's speaking engagement at the Lakeland High School's football team's annual banquet. Hope everyone takes a couple of minutes to read it.

Does Lakeland have some D1 prospects that we would be interested in this year?

At the moment I am not aware of any. But of course the next signing day is almost a year away. Perhaps next Fall there will be a player or two at LHS that gets our coaches attention.
