He's gonna be confirmed, and I am glad. I'm glad to see a previously enlisted man as sec'y of defense, for a change. It's important to have a man like that in that position, someone who's seen war through enlisted eyes. Period. Confirm him!

The recent allegation... not even an allegation, but how his comments were proudly interpreted by some moonbat in favor of... is that he said Israel actually had control over the State Department. Pretty much a kook position to take. I actually think there is a half-decent chance Obama may have to fold on this one.

This is pretty funny. Apparently a reporter made up some over-the-top names of groups, Junior League of Hezbollah and Friends of Hamas, as part of a hypothetical question. Next thing you know, the rightwing media picked it up as real. Fox, Brietbart and National Review, were all questioning why Hagel was hiding his connections with "Friends of Hamas."

On Thursday, Senate sources told Breitbart News exclusively that they have been informed that one of the reasons that President Barack Obama’s nominee for Secretary of Defense, Chuck Hagel, has not turned over requested documents on his sources of foreign funding is that one of the names listed is a group purportedly called “Friends of Hamas.”

Of course, the group never existed.
