If I remember, I'll post a link to Tennessee vs. Florida 2012 and so on as the weeks go by.

Thanks to the guy who put this on youtube

Watched it again last night. Had forgotten some stuff. 3 things that stood out...
1) Wow Driskel took a lot of sacks. I think 8! I don't understand why he doesn't throw it into the stands as he's running OB to avoid the lost yardage.
2) It was so cool when Sturgis 52 yard FG miss was negated by Sumlin's time out. On the 2nd attempt- IT' S GOOD. And that was the winning margin of victory.
3) We did a fake FG in the 1st half. It was successful, and we scored a TD on that possession. Without that TD I don't think we win.
Thanks for the post. I remember the game thread so well. Half the people in the thread were demanding that WM be fired after the first half. Who would have believed at that point that we'd have an 11-1 season?

Well I remembered today but decided not to post another game because I don't know that it is ok per video rights. My apologies.

You know what strikes me after watching those highlights? The fact that Driskel threw an awful lot of pretty passes the first half of the year. It seems clear that as the injuries piled up on the o-line he started taking a lot of big hits and lost both confidence and speed (he clearly played much of the season well under 100%). I think anyone who has serious doubts about Jeff's ability to become at least a decent passer need to watch those. I certainly am feeling optimistic about next year!

I agree with you. He throws the ball well when things are flowing as planned. I can't argue with those who worry about his ability to excel when things aren't going well. Most QB's hit a plateau somewhere, so how high can Jeff fly? I think he's going to continue to improve but he's not polished yet. I'm going in the grit and determination I've seen in him. I think he's working consistently hard and he has the physical ability.
As tape builds on him he has to build his game to present more variables. Defenses will take away his favorite routes & so on if they can. Hopefully he won't top out anytime soon.
