That actually would be a pretty good pod. SEC fans tend to root on SEC teams when facing non-SEC teams, like in the NCAA tournament, just like Washington's Big East/ACC fans tend to root on Big East or ACC teams against teams from other locales.

I think too many of you look to catspause when trying to figure out how the UK fan base feels about feels about something.
I'll pull for Florida having grown up close to the state and with gator fans in the family. I also just like some of the things about the program, objectively. However, even for the average UK fan up here who has no connection to UF whatsoever, you guys very well may represent the best chance of keeping the hated trio of UL, Indiana or Duke from winning another title. You guys will have support.

I like it that our last regular season game will be at Rupp Arena, just in case we'll be playing there in the NCAA tourney.
Also, and correct me if I'm wrong, the Final 4 is in Atlanta, where we also play in the SEC tourney.
It helps a team get acclimated to and comfortable with these big spaces.

The SEC tourney is in Nashville this year. It will be in Atlanta next season.

yes, you are right, my bad.
probably send both miami and florida to lexington; we'd just be in different regions, most likely.
or, would you guys rather go up to the n.e. (to philly)?

speaking of mobilizing the lexington / midwest gator fans to attend the 'pod' in lexington....might start thinking ahead. get those gator fans in the LA area planning ahead for the regional - if we're in the west regional and advance. or D.C gator clubs...or, perhaps, gator clubs in texas. put in for provisional vacation 'now' to attend the games!

You can be in different regions and play in same site/pod in the opening and 2nd round games.

Good to hear from our UK guests that we'd have a good reception in Lexington. I am definitely concerned about whether we might get sent to a hostile atmosphere.

I've received my tickets to the D.C. regional, so I'm hoping Florida is in the East region.

If we end up in Lexington, we will have an abundance of support. 90% of my family are Uk fans as I am from Ky. One thing I know is Uk has diehard Kentucky fans, but they are also diehard SEC fans. (Other than UT) I feel we will have a great support base playing in Rupp. If we end up there I will be at the games.

I could see Duke ending up in philly if they are a high seed
